You can see the advert for yourself here too:

Electric and petrol power combined

A new 2.4L petrol engine combines with the electric capability ensuring that you have a power source to suit all situations. Powerful twin electric motors and a greater capacity battery provide sublime electric driving, and enables the car to switch seamlessly between electric and petrol engine driving when necessary.

Electric and a practical SUV

With the battery located underneath the floor of the vehicle and the front and rear electric motors located at the axles, this is a vehicle with no compromise when it comes to practicality. With 5 seats and a boot capacity of 463L, combined with a high driving position and 190mm ground clearance, the Outlander PHEV is a practical SUV for all occasions.

Electric and 4WD

The sophisticated 4WD system on board the Outlander PHEV can adjust to any terrain, from maximising efficiency for the city streets to prioritising performance on winding mountain roads, to grip and traction in slippery off-road situations. A twin electric motor system even allows for driving in pure electric 4WD mode. The vehicle is fitted with drive modes such as Normal, Eco, Snow and Lock. There is also a new Sport mode which maximises torque from the motors giving sharper acceleration and more agile manoeuvrability.

Electric and delivers up to 159MPG

The new Outlander PHEV has an official weighted average fuel economy of 159.5mpg*. CO2 emissions of 40 g/km mean the new Outlander PHEV still qualifies as an ultra-low emission vehicle, and therefore qualifies for the plug-in vehicle grant of £2,500, along with congestion charge exemption, and for those business users Outlander PHEV still remains a sound choice with the lowest possible rate of BIK at 13%.
