Cruise Control

Easier long distance driving

Cruise Control allows you to automatically maintain ASX's speed without keeping your foot on the accelerator pedal. This means more relaxed driving on longer journeys. To release it, simply press the brake pedal.

Takes speed bumps in its stride

The ASX has all the benefits of an SUV. A high driving position allows you to see more of the road ahead, all while the high ground clearance and MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspensions give you smooth handling over rough roads — making speed bumps are less of a worry.

Dynamic Shield

A fusion of protection and performance

With a new front grille and bumper, the ASX has even stronger features. The front also incorporates the 'Dynamic Shield', a unique design which offers greater protection for pedestrians and passengers. And the sloping hood makes it easier to judge where the corners of the car are, to make parking easier.

7 SRS Airbag System

To keep you and your passengers safe in the event of a collision, the ASX is equipped with a 7-airbag system. There's even a knee airbag for the driver in the event of a forward collision.

Easy starts on hills

Hill Start Assist (HSA)

If you're starting on a steep slope, Hill Start Assist makes it really easy by keeping the brake on for up to two seconds, until you press the accelerator. So you never need to worry about rolling back again.

Parking Sensors

It’s easy to park with reversing sensors. Put the ASX in reverse and the car will let you know how close you are to obstacles behind you — making reverse parking so much easier.

Blind Spot Warning (BSW)

No more blind spots

This feature uses radar sensors to detect whether there are vehicles in your blind spots. If you're about to change lanes, a light will blink in the door mirror on the side nearest to the hazard and a buzzer will sound.
