2WD HIGH RANGE
Choose this one for a smooth, economic performance and fuel efficiency.
4WD FULL TIME
This setting is for more stability when towing or added traction in wet slippery conditions. The L200 can also enter this 4WD mode whilst driving up to 60MPH on normal road surfaces.
4WD HIGH RANGE WITH CENTRE DIFFERENTIAL LOCKED
Use this setting for evenly distributed power to the wheels and an overall better grip.
4WD LOW RANGE WITH CENTRE DIFFERENTIAL LOCKED
This setting offers better turning power and maximum traction on all terrain.
Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC)
Developed for our Rally cars and perfected for our new SUV range, S-AWC is an advanced, full-time four-wheel-drive system controlling the driving and braking force to each wheel. The result is more focused drive power, better cornering and better stability in all driving conditions.
More about Super All Wheel Control
Active Yaw Control is a unique system which we invented. It improves cornering by using the brakes to distribute torque to the left and right wheels optimally. So even if you brake or accelerate too hard, you still maintain control.
Stability in all conditions
Active Stability Control uses sensors to analyse the vehicle’s motion and identify any unstable movement. It then automatically distributes torque and braking power to the left or right wheels to maintain stability.
No locked brakes
An Anti-Lock Braking System is designed to prevent skidding. It works by stopping the wheels from locking up during braking, so they're always in contact with the road surface. ABS has been on our cars for years.
Planning for a winter adventure
If you’re going to take your car off-road, it’s essential that you know what you’re doing. Preparation, equipment and driving ability are all key, and we recommend you take a professionally-run driving course that will teach you how to cope with difficult terrain or harsh conditions in a controlled way before heading off into the great outdoors.
