Charging the Outlander PHEV
Ways to Charge
The drive battery can be charged via a standard UK wall socket, which we recommend uses a dedicated electrical circuit, checked by a qualified electrician.
7 hours (230V 8A) or 5.5 hours (230V 10A)
Quick / Rapid Charger
A Quick Charger can provide up to 80% charge in as little as 25 minutes, making them the quickest way to charge in the UK. Commonly found at motorway service stations and close to major roads.
You'll find Fast Chargers in supermarket car parks, shopping centres and anywhere else a car can be left for an extended period – sometimes even workplaces.
