Ways to Charge
Charging is easy
The Outlander PHEV can be charged in several different ways. All of them are easy and convenient. Just choose the one that suits you best.
- Regular Charger
- Dedicated home charger
- Quick Charger
- Fast Charger
The drive battery can be charged via a standard UK wall socket which we recommend uses a dedicated electrical circuit, checked by a qualified electrician.
7 hours (230V 8A) - 5.5 hours (230V 10A)
A dedicated home charger is one that is installed outside your home by a trained electrician. We recommend the Pod Point and Chargemaster brands.
A quick charger can provide up to 80% charge in as little as 25 minutes, making them the quickest way to charge in the UK. Commonly found at motorway service stations and close to major roads.
You'll find fast chargers in supermarket car parks, shopping centres and anywhere else a car can be left for an extended period – sometimes even workplaces.
Get the council to install a charger
If you don’t have off-street parking, contact your local authority to see if you can have a public charger installed nearby. *For countries with council schemes.
Mitsubishi Remote Control
