The Mitsubishi Shogun Sport
The new Shogun Sport had a dynamic, sporty exterior and a stylish, roomy interior. Overall, the car had a strong sense of purpose, combined with comfort and safety.
The body of the Shogun Sport was mounted on a ladder frame for high levels of durability and reliability. Mitsubishi's AWC (All Wheel Control) philosophy, developed through its participation in the Dakar Rally and other contests, informs not just the Pajero Sport, but all of the company's 4WD systems.
This model used the Super Select 4WD system, also used in the Shogun, which transmits drive torque effectively to all four wheels on all types of surface. The body, frame and driveline not only gave Shogun Sport outstanding off-road performance, but allowed it to deliver excellent drive dynamics on all road surfaces.
