Winter Adventures

Winter isn’t all about staying inside

Mitsubishi 4x4s are built for harsh conditions and bad weather, with technology that helps them hold the road better and handle more extreme terrain.

Advanced 4x4 systems

At their heart, each of our 4x4 models has a dedicated four wheel drive system that electronically controls all four wheels, providing dynamic power and more effective grip on the road.

Super Select 4WD

Take on all kinds of terrain with maximum stability and traction. This state-of-the-art four wheel drive system controls the power and braking to each individual wheel. Designed to get you through mud, snow, sand and deep water, climb over rocks and grip steep inclines.

Available on L200 and Shogun Sport

Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC)

Developed for our Rally cars and perfected for our new SUV range, S-AWC is an advanced, full-time four-wheel-drive system controlling the driving and braking force to each wheel. The result is more focused drive power, better cornering and better stability in all driving conditions.

Available on Outlander PHEV and Eclipse Cross

Planning for a winter adventure

If you’re going to take your car off-road, it’s essential that you know what you’re doing. Preparation, equipment and driving ability are all key, and we recommend you take a professionally-run driving course that will teach you how to cope with difficult terrain or harsh conditions in a controlled way before heading off into the great outdoors.

Safer winter journeys with a Mitsubishi

Our passion for safety is evident across the Mitsubishi range, with intelligent features that anticipate dangers in your blind spot, and active systems that monitor each tyre in real-time to ensure optimal traction on slippery surfaces.
